About the Role: As a Customer Support Officer / Manager at an ISP, you are the first point of contact for clients experiencing internet connectivity issues. Your role involves active public dealing, troubleshooting basic to intermediate network problems over the phone, explaining broadband packages, and coordinating with the core network engineering team to resolve complex outages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and resolve queries.
  • Technical Support: Provide primary technical support to customers regarding internet connectivity, router setup, and browsing issues.
  • Escalation: Identify and escalate complex technical problems or network outages to the proper engineering department.
  • Follow-up: Follow up with customers post-issue resolution to ensure maximum satisfaction and service stability.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer records, call logs, and support documentation.
  • Product Knowledge: Explain broadband package features, service updates, and suitable service plans to new and existing clients.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with billing, field support, and network engineering departments.

Required Qualifications

To apply for this role, candidates must meet the following specific criteria:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor/Honors degree from a reputed institution.

    • Preference: Background in Computing and Networking is highly required.

  • Experience:

    • 2 to 5 years of practical experience.

    • Mandatory: Experience must be in the ISP (Internet Service Provider) business area.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent Communication and Public Dealing skills.

    • Strong Computer Literacy, Internet browsing, and Technical Skills.

    • Basic knowledge of Network Engineering (IP configuration, router access, ping test).

  • Age Limit:

    • Between 22 to 35 years.
